BD torque converters are engineered with exclusive cast aluminum stators to improve efficiency, durability, and throttle response in stock to higher horsepower applications. Each BD-engineered converter features a stamp-forged steel front cover, furnace-brazed fins, and significantly increased lock-up clutch material to handle added torque while maintaining smooth, reliable performance.
